In the summer of 1991 I built my first project in wood, a small Jewelry box. Since that time I have built projects both large and small: boxes, chairs, stools, cabinets, tables and tools. My shop practice is hand tool dominant as I feel that the closer connection to the work enables me to create higher quality projects. I use machinery on a limited basis primarily when a project calls for repetitive tasks that would become monotonous by hand, essentially the machines take the place of a traditional apprentice. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your next piece of furniture.
